Studio update: the home stretch!

Taking a moment from our mixing sessions to drop ya’ll an update. We’re in the home stretch! We apologize for the relative radio silence… Lots of Life Stuff going on: Skip is gettin’ hitched, Adam’s solar business is taking off, Sam got a new job, etc. but also our trusty engineer Eliot had to relocate his studio, which set us back a bit. We are now wrapping up overdubs and mixing at a new shop: Tones on Tail in East Oakland! 

Still, we are happy to report that 90% of tracking is finished, and 50% of the album is mixed and ready for mastering! We’re starting to play with the song order and stuff… Beautiful Was The Night is already shaping up to be an unforgettable audio experience. 

We are shooting for a mid-September record release, likely in San Francisco, but possibly in other towns as well: Sacramento & LA, namely. Woo ha!
